A second, deeper-thinking model works behind the scenes between your turns: it keeps the world state coherent, plans plot threads, and keeps the story ambitious — seeding complications now that pay off chapters later. Combat runs on real mechanics underneath the prose: health, stamina, advantage, skills, weapons and wounds are tracked by the game, not decided by the narrator's mood.
