The Stone of Eternity

The Stone of Eternity is a comedic 2D point-and-click adventure set in a modern art museum, where the past suddenly stops being just an exhibition. The player controls Ivan, a young museum employee who accidentally activates an ancient artifact. After disrupting the flow of time, he is drawn into a chain of events where real historical eras literally come to life before his eyes. To restore the Stone of Eternity and put everything back in its place, Ivan must travel between worlds, solve puzzles, and interact with characters from different time periods. The game is planned to feature three major locations: - The construction of Saint Petersburg in the 18th century, - The Slavic festival of Ivan Kupala in the 10th century, - A Soviet scientific laboratory in the 20th century. Along the way, the protagonist will meet both historical figures, such as Peter the Great, and characters from Slavic folklore, including Baba Yaga, Leshy, and others. Behind the light comedy, absurd situations, and time-travel adventures lies a story about growing up and finding one’s place in life. Ivan must go from a confused young man who simply drifts with the flow to someone capable of making decisions and taking responsibility for his actions. Meanwhile, the ironic tone, references, and sarcastic view of events help keep the story vivid, memorable, and far from a dark drama.
