The Last Comfort

The Last Comfort is a Metroidvania set within a child's subconscious mind. You play as Tedd, his favorite teddy bear, set on a mission to save the boy from a terminal illness. You must traverse through the child's memories, dreams, and nightmares, find the sickness and heal him. The world in the boy's mind is vast, filled with enemies and obstacles. You have to fight through many enemies and bosses that each have different attack sequences, and you have to learn their patterns, know how to parry/block, stun them, and strike! Master the block system to knock enemies off balance, use fade-away slashes to control the gap, and parry at the exact second an enemy strikes to unleash a devastating counter-attack. The world is full of danger in this decaying mind, but some places are still safe and clean from the sickness. This is where you get a breather before you continue on ahead in search of the dark. You aren't forced into one specific way to fight. Throughout the world, you will find unique bracelets with different abilities and skills to help you build the way you like to play.
