She fills her journals with words she’s too afraid to share, keeps her emotions close to her chest, and quietly wonders if there's something more waiting beyond the stillness of home. Meet Kira Kira Thompson is her complete opposite. A sharp-tongued guitarist from South London, Kira is loud, unpredictable, and impossible to ignore. She wears confidence like armour, hides her insecurities behind sarcasm, and has no intention of letting anyone get close enough to see what's underneath. Then they meet. What begins as an unlikely friendship slowly becomes something neither girl knows how to handle. Through music, university life, late-night conversations, and moments neither of them quite knows how to put into words, Emi and Kira begin to discover that sometimes the person who understands you best is the person you never expected to meet. But STATIC HEARTS isn't just one love story.
