Souper Bloody

They wanted to summon their god. They got a nightmare. Now, it's time to make them into a stew. Souper Bloody is a rougelite hack-and-slash where you play as a demon from the lowest layer of the Underlasagne. You can only move around in the blood of your enemies, so get slashing! Xylo (full name Xylo William Phone) is a demon living comfortably in the lowest layer of the Underlasagne until one day he gets accidentally summoned to the surface by the vegetable cult. Understandably cranky, he kills each and every piece of food on his way back down to the core of the Underlasagne. - PLAY as a demon seeking revenge on the food cults of the Underlasagne! - FIGHT cults of rotten vegetables and other foods! - UPGRADE your stats in between runs and find perks while battling! - DESCEND the layers of the Underlasagne! - BECOME John Souper Bloody! This game was made by 6 students as a group project assignment for their third year in the bachelor Digital Arts & Entertainment at Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen in Belgium. The music was composed by Joshua Mas, student at the Royal Conservatoire of Ghent. The narrative was written by Elise Himbaza Iradukunda, student at the Royal Institute for Theatre, Cinema and Sound.
