Find your machine
The full game features 12 robots with different silhouettes, stats and starting weapons. Bring Bastion's machine gun, Kestrel's phase cleaver or Solstice's magnetic railgun. Each gives your run a different starting point; the upgrades you choose decide where it goes.
Make the weapons work together
Upgrade the right combination of weapons, then claim a Resonance reward to add new attack effects. Rail Grid, for example, turns repeated rail hits into chain lightning. Orbiting saws, nanite swarms, gravity fields and temporal beacons open up other ways to control the fight.
Choose your upgrades, watch for useful combinations and shape a build around the weapons you enjoy.
Keep a way out
The full game's seven battlefields bring different enemies, hazards and bosses. Read their attacks, move through gaps in the swarm and use your dash when the battlefield closes in.
