Hold the Line is a top-down 2D pixel-art roguelite island survival game. Survive Seven Days on a Procedurally Generated Island Each run begins on a procedurally generated island where you must fight to survive. Gather resources and build up your base during the day, grow stronger through research, and fend off hostile wildlife at night. Adapt to an ever-changing environment, grow stronger, and face the run’s final challenge on Day 7. Adapt to Unexpected Events Unexpected events can occur throughout each run, changing the environment and animal behavior while creating new survival challenges and new ways to find resources. Keep an eye on changes in your surroundings before events occur, gather resources ahead of time, adjust your strategy, and prepare for what's coming. Experience a variety of events, emerge stronger from each one, and take on increasingly difficult events. Create your own way to survive Gain new traits as you progress through each run. These traits can alter your attributes, enhance your actions, unlock new building functions, and change your relationship with wildlife.
