Plug in a guitar or bass, play and learn songs, practice techniques based on proven methods from around the world, shape your sound, track your progress, and compete with others. Everything is in one place, so you don't have to keep digging through countless confusing learning tools, resources, and services. Build your presence as a creator, learn to play as part of a band, and perform for a real live audience.
Fretlore supports a wide range of string configurations: 6–9-string electric guitars and 4–8-string basses, with fine control over settings such as fret count, tuning, and much more. Your instrument connects through an ASIO-compatible audio interface. FretDriver detects the notes you play in real time, while the built-in DSP processes the guitar signal directly inside the game, with no perceptible latency.
The idea is simple: minimize the number of steps between picking up your instrument and actually playing it. The goal is to help you better understand how you interact with the guitar, build a more effective practice routine, and keep improving no matter your current skill level.
