Cure for Death

Cure for Death is a short visual novel that blends 2D and 3D elements. It marks the first chapter of a chilling story set amidst mysterious events in an old mansion. You’ll encounter its peculiar residents — and you won’t just talk to them, you’ll have to live with them. Why is it so cold in here?! The story follows a young man who leaves his hometown to chase his dream job at a prestigious publishing house. Low on funds, he moves into a suspiciously affordable house — and quickly finds out the real reason behind the bargain price. This game features a beautifully flickering candle. Our entire budget was three cans of beer: two were spent on animating the flame, and the last one went to the person who composed the music. In this game, you’ll find: – picturesque backgrounds (drawn completely voluntarily, we swear), – a cat — because what kind of game doesn’t have a cat? – a few mini-games to keep you entertained (and to prove we did something), – immersive, surround sound that gently hugs your ears. Some content has been tucked away for better times — when we have free hands, more time, and maybe a couple more cans of beer.
