Try again and again to survive longer in fully destructible, ever-shifting levels loaded with robots, deadly traps, screen-filling bosses, and fickle aliens. There are many deadly surprises which you must use skill, experience, and luck to learn to eventually overcome! The scraps from enemy robots can be used and upgraded to cause chain reactions and destruction. Upgrades create interesting and over-the-top synergies that make runs chaotic and unique! The game features permadeath, procedurally generated levels, randomized abilities, and many unique and novel ways to die. Randomized robotic upgrades greatly transform the experience. The robots burst into scraps which heal, replenish attacks, cause damage, and start chain reactions... which can all be modified in various ways through upgrades. Synergies will create ridiculous powers, sometimes in unusual ways, but you may need such abilities to survive all the way through. Crescent Break combines a large variety of retro and newer influences into something unique. Punishing situations can end a run instantly, but if you survive you might be able to find almost game-breaking abilities. Use everything at your disposal including your curiosity and retro game talents.
