Explore an unknown world, found cities, unlock technologies and raise armies, while your Leader moves across the map alongside them. Every card expands what your empire can do, but also shapes the hand you will have when the crucial moment arrives. Choose your Leader carefully. Each one comes with powerful strengths and weaknesses. Then choose Power Cards to add to your deck, letting you reinforce your Leader's strengths or compensate for their flaws. Your rivals are building their own empires at the same time, and every game is designed to end within one hour. Expand too slowly and the best land disappears. Neglect your army and a neighbour may come for your cities. Commit to a Wonder and suddenly you are in a race to finish it before someone else. Wonders can reshape the battlefield, transform your economy, secure territory or push your civilisation towards the endgame.
