“That choice will change both your fate and the girl’s.” —On a shrine path swirling with strange disturbances, every step you take with the girl is put to the test— Yaei Shrine is a Japanese-style light horror adventure in which the player guides a girl dressed as a shrine maiden toward a mountain shrine plagued by unsettling phenomena. Eerie sounds, sudden presences, and things that should never appear… As you walk alongside the girl, a boundary between the real world and the otherworld unfolds before you. Your decisions will determine the girl’s fate. --------------------------- Guide the shrine maiden girl, who can no longer reach the shrine at the summit due to a sinister aura, safely to the shrine. If you notice an anomaly, take the left path. If nothing seems out of place, proceed along the right path and continue escorting her toward the shrine at the summit. This game is an “Exit 8–like” title inspired by games such as The Exit 8. There are two difficulty levels: Normal and Hard. (We recommend starting with Normal. Even Normal may feel challenging.) Estimated playtime is 15 to 90 minutes. (If you clear it quickly, we recommend playing again—you may notice different anomalies or get a different feel.) Regardless of difficulty, clearing the game unlocks special elements. (Carve your name among the top ranks with the unlocked content!) There are very few horror elements, so even players who dislike horror should be able to enjoy the game comfortably. Relax, enjoy chatting with the girl, and keep an eye out for anomalies.
