You are a number. Make it bigger. The Leaderboard is a satirical idle game with exactly one goal: reach #1 on a real, global Steam leaderboard. There is no story. There is no gameplay, technically. There is only The Number, and the other people whose Numbers are bigger than yours.How to climb - Exist. Points accumulate while the game is open. Walk away. We won't tell anyone. - Show up. Daily login bonuses reward the bare minimum of commitment. - Perform meaningless tasks. Mash keys. Type words. Click a button 43 times. Occasionally, do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for 5 minutes (harder than it sounds). - Hire help. An Unpaid Intern watches the game so you don't have to. A Quantum Hamster spins in superposition. Both are more productive than you. - Buy your way up. The store sells points. That's it. That's the store. "Pay To Win" costs more than the game itself and does exactly what it says. Three leaderboards to be mediocre on - Global — you vs. humanity - Friends — you vs. people who will actually notice - National — you vs. your country. Move somewhere with a VPN and fewer competitors. We consider this strategy. Also included - A global chat with channels for #general, #flexing, #cope and #afk. Nobody reads it. Post anyway. - A nemesis system that tells you exactly whose downfall to obsess over. - Prestige: reset your points for a permanent multiplier and the fleeting feeling of a fresh start. - Achievements ranging from "Hello World" to things you will genuinely be ashamed of. - A stats screen that calculates your estimated time to #1 in years. It is not encouraging. - Patch notes. We won't tell you what the button does. Honest FAQ Is this a game? Legally, yes. Is it fun? The leaderboard says 8,442 people think so. Can I win?
