I. Game Overview "Scarlet Children" is a pixel-style Japanese horror mystery game. You play as a young girl named Resu, who ventures deep into a secluded mountain manor shrouded in darkness. As you solve one puzzle after another, you gradually approach a long-buried truth—a cruel mystery entwined with memory, fate, and identity. II. Story Overview What began as an ordinary school project… Resu and her friends entered the forest in search of the fabled "Rose Manor," a Western-style mansion hidden deep within the woods. But before they could even reach the manor, her friends began to vanish one by one. Left with no other choice, Resu steels herself and steps alone into the ominous, shadowy estate. What awaits her there …is not an answer, but echoes of nightmares, shattered memories, and a fate already set in motion. Familiar faces gaze down from the portraits on the walls. A nostalgic song drifts from the end of the hallway. Someone is crying. Someone is laughing. But is any of it real—or just fragments of her imagination? To find her lost friends, to reclaim the pieces of a forgotten childhood, Resu must keep moving forward... even if what awaits her at the end is a terrifying truth— one that may make her question who she really is. Puzzle Mini-Games: Each chapter features unique puzzle mini-games with different styles and mechanics. Multiple Endings: There are at least two different endings. Your choices will shape the path and determine how the story unfolds. Chase Sequences: Strange creatures will appear to hunt Resu. You must run or hide to survive.
