The player awakens in a world woven from others’ nightmares — each one tied to their own past. Every level mirrors someone they once hurt, humiliated, or broke. Now, those memories have come alive, and each one is ready to claim them forever. The hero has tried to escape before. Countless times. They’ve fallen between levels, wandered in the void, and woken up “at the start” again. Endless attempts have left them with amnesia — they don’t remember their failures, deaths, or the paths they’ve already walked. But traces of past cycles remain. Notes, shadows, cryptic inscriptions — all hint at attempts they don’t recall but that undeniably happened. Each nightmare is guarded by an entity — a spirit, a sentinel, the visage of someone they once shattered. These beings know their weaknesses and react to every mistake. They won’t let go easily.
