Pawns into the Dark

The worst may be right beside you. A turn-based tactical game where you lead up to adventurers through a dungeon shrouded in darkness. You never know what may be lurking just one step ahead. Use limited movement, skills, and cards to guide your adventurers back alive. One Step Ahead Remains Unseen Most of the dungeon is covered in darkness. To find your enemies, you must move forward. But that same step may also bring you closer to them. How far should you advance? Where should you stop? That decision can mean life or death. Command Your Adventurers Build a party from adventurers with different abilities, and fight by making the most of their strengths. Who should move first? Who should be protected? Whose skill should be saved for later? Each adventurer’s action changes the options available to the next. Survive with Limited Resources Movement, skill points, health, and cards are all limited. Should you use a potion now? Should you light the way ahead with a lantern? Should you stop an enemy with a barricade? Holding back is dangerous. But if you use everything now, you may have no answer for the next crisis. Bring Everyone Back Alive Fallen adventurers can be revived at camp. However, if anyone has fallen, you lose the opportunity to gain a new card. It is not enough to defeat the enemy in front of you. You must preserve your strength for what lies ahead. One decision will determine the path to the next floor.
