Read emails, spend tokens, dive into a surreal dimension outside the observable universe to fight unknowable horrors and harvest them for Psychomatter, have an existential crisis, grapple with the true meaning of happiness, and worry about meeting your next quota in this first-of-its-kind incremental FPS hybrid. In ParaDive++, you play as a newly inducted member of the Prometheus Collective's ParaDiver division, as you use technology developed under the supervision of the great Professor John Zeno, to astral-project into a matrix, a pocket-dimension grown on the membrane that envelopes the observable universe. Fight the strange psychic life forms inhabiting the matrix and collect their Psychomatter: - The more Psychomatter you absorb and level up, the more aggressive the matrix becomes, throwing bigger hordes and more complex lifeforms at you. - The more Psychomatter you spend on upgrades, the stronger you become, and the better you can keep up with what the matrix throws at you. - Understand the rules of the matrix to be able to maximize Psychomatter yield and reach your even increasing quota. - With each quota reached, you receive Prestige Tokens, which can be spent to unlock new types of upgrades you can use, losing all your existing upgrade progress in the process, but gaining access to new features and mechanics that let you reach higher and higher quotas faster the next go-around. After each dive, you'll find yourself back at your computer, where you can lurk in co-worker chat rooms, read private messages and files, check your progress and your next quota, and purchase upgrades before diving back in again.
