Neural Descent is a precise 2D platformer where you take control of a system bug and you must escape before the programmer finally catches you and squashes you. Through your journey you will need to learn abilities in order to traverse the collapsing program you have caused. And follow the narrative in order to finally escape. Dive deep into your programming and discover who the mastermind really is. Key Features Precision Movement: Every input must be precise and perfectly timed in order to navigate the crumbling program. Abilities: You begin with the modest jump but you will unlock abilities like Double Jump, Wall Cling, and Dash. Use these to chain some impressive movements to clear the intricate paths. The Hub: The area where you are safe during travel between levels, and where you meet a very important character. Kernel Colonel: A moderator that will progress you through the story, albeit with an overwhelming love of dry humor. Duck Bot: A master class smart aleck. He will bring you up just to tear you down, through countless witty quips. Dynamic Architecture: Every area you encounter will challenge you in a way you have not been challenged prior. You will need to use all your skills in order to make it to the other side before time runs out. Glitches & Secrets: As you flow through your challenges you will begin to see glitches start appearing and if you interact with them there is no knowing what damage they will cause and what buried code will be found. You are a glitch: The further into the program you go the more the programmer trys to stop you by any means possible. This includes raycast lasers, moving platforms, endless pitfalls, and movement tracking antivirus turrets. Ensure that doesn't happen and finally unveil the true master mind behind Neural Descent.
