Neon Tyrant is a vertical scrolling shoot-em-up in the spirit of the classics, rebuilt around one idea: co-op that actually means something. TOGETHERNESS IS A MECHANIC - Bond beams — fly close to a wingmate and your shields regenerate twice as fast, kills score more, and defensive power-ups are shared. - Active rescue — when you fall, you're not out. You're a drifting wreck with 15 seconds on the clock, and your partner must fly to you and hold position under fire. The rescue link glows green.
