Your challenge in HUMANOID is to escape a robot factory, destroying as many robots as you can and taking out the controllers before they launch an attack on Earth. Run through the maze blasting robots, but don't touch the walls—they're electrified! The factory contains 81 rooms to explore as you search for keys that unlock new areas. Clearing a room powers you up for the next one, but leaving too many robots alive will spawn deadly rocket robots. Take too long in a room and a Controller Demon will appear to chase you out. HUMANOID is a parody sci-fi arcade-style run-and-gun shoot 'em up in the spirit of early 8-bit arcade games—with the added bonus that you can actually win. To survive, you need to play aggressively: you're rewarded for acting fast and clearing rooms. Simple to play, difficult to master. The path you take is up to you. Take the quickest route out or try to completely wipe out the Zylon menace. Learn the firing patterns of the Controller Bosses to take them down. Don't be a chicken - fight like a robot!!!
