Defend Your Fish

Defend Your Fish is a classic endless wave strategic game, themed like Arcade games, where you control a Seal and protect your fish from the various beach critters for as long as possible. The enemies you will encounter are Crabs, Seagulls, Coconut Crabs, and Pelicans. Your fish is your life indicator. You have 3 lives. Once your bucket is empty, its game over! You can restore your lives if you manage to catch your enemies and attack them before they manage to run off screen with your fish. You also have a stamina bar to use to quickly get across the screen to catch your enemies. You have assigned attacks like Swipe and Boop for different enemies. You swipe at crabs and Boop at the birds. As you survive longer enemies will start to spawn more often and different types will start to appear; making your struggle more difficult; but you can collect powerups as they appear on the beach and if you fill your powerup bar, you can clear the screen of enemies in one attack. There is no actual win condition for this game. You will always lose, but you just might earn enough coins from your struggles to purchase upgrades from the Merchant to help your future runs go better and compete against yourself or others in the leaderboards for the best time (score). Key Features of This Game: - Character Customization - you will be able to unlock various skins for your seal by either saving up enough coins or by meeting a minimum score requirement. - Merchant - The Merchant is a Fish Crow that will supply his shop with various items to help you against the onslaught of enemies. For a price of course! Some of these upgrades include more stamina, higher damage, even npc creatures to help protect your bucket if enemies get too close. - Leaderboards - Your highest time survived (score) will be saved and put into a Leaderboard for you to compete with others or just see where you placed amongst others. - Currency - You will earn coins at the end of every game to spend in the shop to get upgrades or cosmetics for your seal.
