Cybrogue is a Deck Building Roguelike where moment to moment gameplay is chess-like focused on calculations ahead. Your job is simple: survive and escape. How you do it is the exciting bit. You see the board, you see them standing in your way and you see all the places you can get to. You are in control, use it to your advantage and never look back. Only then you will achieve full neural dominance! There is no place for sightseeing tours of this collapsed high-tech megacity. Every district is full of mean types that at best keep to themselves and at worst would happily splash you into pieces. You need to move through numerous locations with cold calculation as every excursion can be your last. It’s all about your playstyle - you decide when the reward is worth the risk. Oldschool netrunners would tell you it’s better to be safe than have your brain fried but then who wouldn’t want this shiny mod to your card that can change your whole run? Don’t worry, nowadays death is just another opportunity to improve yourself. The more you try to escape the more you will know how to play the system and get access to new stuff that previous you would love to have. You are being hunted by the private army of the corporate overlords. Staying in one district for too long means risk of being caught by alarm bots that lock the area out.
