Your job is simple: make sure not a single animal on this farm comes to harm. Maintain the fences and keep your eyes open at all times. Ensure the herd always has access to food and water. Grow crops, prepare feed, and operate basic farm machinery.
There’s no signal out here. Your only link to the outside world is a radio. Don’t wander too deep into the woods. There are bears, wolf packs, and things you’re better off never seeing. Stay alert, especially at night. The herd is easy prey. You’ll have a bunk, a fireplace, and a stack of old books. Plenty of time to sort out whatever you brought with you. If something goes wrong, may God watch over you. Any help will take hours to arrive.
