Chop Sous-Y-Chef

Chop Sous-Y-Chef is a single player third person boomer shooter / brawler game styled like an over-the-top action movie. The game is cooking and restaurant themed. Think Die Hard meets MasterChef, or John Wick meets The Great British Bake Off. You play the hero protagonist, a Sous-chef named Brad, who finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. Initially you are only trying to stay alive and escape as waves of bad guys try to end you and your culinary career. But eventually you uncover a broader plot and strike out to deliver a good helping of justice to the dark forces vying for your demise. Features of the game include: - Multiple ways to play each level. Do you go out guns blazing and exploding everything in sight? Or employ a stealthier approach? - Ability to employ novel fighting methods like using a bad guy as a human shield, throwing an empty shootable weapon at an enemy to disrupt their attack, using a frying pan to block incoming shots in one hand while shooting with the other and more. - Unarmed attacks and techniques like blocks, grapples, throws, choke outs, punches, and kicks. - An array of different bad guys, variations of bad guys and bad guy behaviors to strategize against and handle. - A wide variety of weapons you can find in the environment or pick up from dead or injured bad guys (shootable, throwable and melee types), as well as environment setups you can use to aid your escape. - Action-packed atmospheric and cinematic levels with moveable and destructible components that use a physics-based gameplay system with ragdoll mechanics and more. There are secret passages and typically more than one pathway through most levels. - Heart thumping soundtrack to get you in the mood and keep it that way. - Plenty of high tempo action and excitement including explosions, blood splatter, fast cars and whatever else comes to mind in a good action flick. Now like all good cheesy action flicks time for a little backstory… 🔹🔹🔹 Brad West is a mild-mannered Sous-chef working in a major up and coming urban restaurant. The crowds get bigger each week, the critics are raving and there's even rumor of Michelin Star consideration. After many long years of sweat and toil Brad has slowly worked his way up to the coveted position of Sous-chef and is now eyeing Head Chef in a few years if he's lucky. However, what few know is that before this current life Brad was an elite special forces operative with dozens of successful black ops missions under his belt. Later, Brad sought a career sea change that brought him into restauranteering - which he sees as his true passion and purpose. One night after all the patrons and staff had left, Brad finds himself alone in the establishment. He does his final clean of the kitchen - flawless. Suddenly he feels a gentle tingle at the back of his neck. A feeling he has not had since... ... his old instincts automatically kick in. Out of the corner of his eye he glimpses a hint of a shadow. Something moving outside. He grabs a toque hat from the top shelf. He figures it's justified for tonight as he'll be heading up the restaurant in a fine cuisine of bad guy misery. And so, it begins…
