Do you like storms, lightning and SNAILS? If your answer is yes, yes, and YES, then this game is for you! At a Snail's Pace is a short 2D side-scroller pixel-art game about a snail in a storm. Avoid lightning strikes by hiding under shelters, eating apples, and collecting shields.
This game is about timing, skill, patience, and a LOT of spamming. Your snail only moves a bit when you press the key once. In order to travel faster than a snail's pace, you have to spam the key as fast as humanly possible. The controls themselves are basic and easy to remember. The question is: how fast can you click?
This game has some pretty diverse levels. Each level features:
- A beautiful and unique color scheme and aesthetic
- A new and original obstacle such as DragonFlies and windmills that has never been seen in previous levels
- lightning striking in 10-second intervals (with a scary countdown for the last five seconds)
- stunning VFX and special effects
Do you think you can make it past all the lightning-filled levels? You can certainly try, but it won't be easy! Wha ha ha ha!
