Allrest Inn

Allrest Inn is a cosy narrative-driven simulation game set in the fantasy realm of Eorzha. You play as the up-and-coming proprietor of the eponymous tavern, learning skills from and working alongside the inn's other two longstanding employees. As adventurers and other guests come to stay at the inn, you'll learn about their histories, quirks, favourite meals and what business brings them to the area. You can refer an adventurer to a quest or job you've heard about, the outcome of which may change depending on the traits and disposition of the adventurer you refer. With simple mechanics and a diverse cast of characters, Allrest Inn offers a unique perspective on adventure fantasy that celebrates the comforting power of food and the connections forged in service to others. You will be in charge of running Allrest Inn's day-to-day business, including welcoming guests and tackling a variety of cosy chores, including cooking, gardening, cleaning, tending to animals. The different activities give you different rewards, whether that's money, additions to your inventory, improving the inn's reputation or new character or quest rumours. Spend time caring for the garden so that you always have the freshest ingredients available. There's limited time in the day to get things done- - that's where the other inn staff come in! There are two main helpers you can assign different chores to help you keep on top of things. Roweley is often relegated to the jobs requiring muscles around the Inn. Carrying fresh water up from the creek? Roweley. Mucking out the stables? Roweley. Does he ever complain? Of course, but he just looks so good doing it. Naviya is your expert in the kitchen. She's been working in this business longer than you've been alive. She might be persuaded to teach you a secret recipe or two, if you manage to get on her good side. The realm's filled with adventurers out trying to earn their coin with a swing of a sword, and oft they appear at your door looking for shelter, a warm meal and a rumour to send them onto their next journey. These friendly faces will pop in and out often for you to keep company as they await the writing of their next epic tale. It rhymes with Handsome for a reason. He's been everywhere and seen everything, and now it's time for a slower change of pace. Being an adventurer is still the job, but maybe he's finally looking for a quiet place to retire with a certain someone. Looking over the front desk at Eireen, you're unsure if you should check her into one room, or if she needs a second for that huge axe! With a penchant for radical ideas and exploration, Eireen is most comfortable in her own company but even the most seasoned explorers can be tempted to stay awhile with the right incentives. There are many more adventurers across the realm bound to find themselves in need of hospitality - just wait til they show up on your doorstep!
