Über Local Game Store Simulator
Open the doors to your own local game store
Stock everything from trading cards, video games and consoles, to deck boxes and sleeves, set your own prices, and build a shop your regulars keep coming back to. Every customer has a budget, a favorite kind of item and their own idea of a fair price. Price too high and they walk out - your reputation goes with them to your friend's store down the street.
Make it your game
Almost nothing in Local Game Store Simulator is fixed. Change how the game plays, how the economy behaves, what your shop sells and how it looks.
Your rules
Before every new game, Advanced Settings let you change customers, customer dialogue, prices, wholesale, grading, conventions, market events and much more. Play a relaxed shop, a cut-throat profit machine or anything in between, and share your settings through the Steam Workshop.
Your cards, your products
Build whole sets in the built-in creator, with your own pictures:
- Trading cards, with foil finishes, rarities and values
- Booster packs and booster boxes, with your own pull rates
- Video games, consoles and accessories
- Posters and card backs
Your sets sit on the shelves next to everything else, customers buy them, and they show up in packs, the market and the grading case.
Your store
Name your store, choose its walls and floor, lay out the shelves and fixtures, hang posters and play your own music. When the money comes in, expand into the empty units next door.
Share it
Upload your custom sets and your settings to the Steam Workshop, and play with what other people have made.
Run the shop
- Buy and price: buy stock wholesale and set every price yourself.
- Work the counter: ring up customers, and make offers when they bring in cards and games to sell. Haggle, and pay in cash or store credit.
- Build a reputation: fair prices and good stock bring people back. Bad reviews keep them away.
Crack packs and chase the hits
Open booster packs, chase foils and rare pulls, and build your personal collection. Send your best cards off for grading and sell the slabs for a premium.
A market that moves
Prices drift every day. Tournament results, ban lists, reprints, streamers and retro features move them, and rumors let a sharp owner buy in early. Take the hunt further at conventions, the online marketplace, consignment auctions, and the boutique and thrift stores down the strip.
Play together
- Rival stores: go head to head with up to 8 total players and compete for customers and product.
- One shop, shared: team up in the same store with up to 4 players.
- Trade and battle: trade with friends, or challenge them to a winner-takes-all pack battle.
- Solo: the whole game works on your own.
