SOOT

Separated from his mother after an accident, a small black cat must follow her fading scent through a vast city of smoke, rain and endless rooftops. SOOT is a 2D atmospheric adventure set in a polluted industrial city filled with towering factories, crowded streets, hidden apartments and forgotten places beneath the ground. Climb, explore, sneak past humans and solve environmental puzzles as the trail leads deeper into the city. A strange connection to pollution gives the cat unusual abilities. Inhale smoke, release it into the environment and dissolve into it to slip through vents, travel through chimneys and ride air currents to otherwise unreachable places. Hide in boxes, scratch furniture, knock things over, follow scents, meow at other cats, sleep or watch TV. Follow her trail and uncover the mystery hidden beneath the city’s smoke.
