The worldbuilding of Otheream draws on the original suspense-horror comic series Parallel (詭聞齋). This franchise originates from a black-and-white horror comic collection created by 九日十夜. CASCHA later partnered with the original author to adapt it into story-focused text adventure games. Three interactive narrative titles have been released so far: Ghost in the Pool, Concealed, and Weirdo. All stories are set at Diyingling High School, with interwoven timelines and character connections. We craft grounded, realistic supernatural tales rooted in absurd yet plausible everyday oddities, leaving final judgment entirely to players. As a niche horror IP, we warmly invite all Parallel fans to join our official QQ & Discord communities. We actively gather feedback and communicate closely with fans to polish our works, aiming to build a modern-day equivalent of Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio.
