The Swallow is open again on the Melancholy Shores. Keep the shift alive, pour under pressure, and answer for every yes, no, and glass. Regulars don't need saving - they need a bartender who stays, and a drink that tells the truth.

The lights are on again
One more. please is an ironic port-pub sim: you keep an evening alive and quietly steer people's lives from behind the bar.
You inherit The Swallow in the Melancholy Shores - a worn-down pub that still has to open every night. Crowds order. Glasses fill, stain, and break. The till has to cover the week. Mid-shift, regulars ask for more than a drink: a push, a stop, or a place to sit without being solved.
Nobody here needs a hero. They drink. They talk a little more than they meant to. You answer with a yes, a no, and whatever you put in the glass.
Two loops, one evening
Keep the shift afloat. Pour beer and spirits, mix when the order asks for it, wash up, wipe the mess, take the money. Fridays bite. Sundays, rent comes due. The pub does not freeze for a cutscene.
Advise from the counter. Yes and no set someone's next step. The drink sets how they live it - steady, bold, too soft, or too much. There is no correct cocktail and no perfect answer.
The right pour opens someone up. The wrong one still means something. Consequences arrive later: who visits, who vanishes for a week, what the town repeats in someone else's voice.
The Swallow's regulars
A newcomer who asks not to be decided for. A local with one more scheme and a mother at home. A factory worker who keeps a book in her bag. A woman who pays like everyone else and knows more than she should. A lighthouse keeper who talks like a novel. A man from city hall who would rather the noise stopped.
They cross. They overhear. They come back changed - or they don't.
What you actually do
Open the blinds, ring the bell, work the taps, shaker, coffee, till, and sink
Read the person, not a recipe quiz - pour by bar instinct
Speak when asked; stay quiet when that's the honest move
Feel like the owner just enough: cash, rent, broken glass - not a spreadsheet city
Live in a warm, ironic, slightly melancholic port town
Coming soon to Steam.
