Hubert Catching

Hubert catching is a fun and simple game where you desperately scramble to throw small living stone pingies (penguins) into a hole, in an attempt to appease the beings that sent you into this realm so they may eventually set you free. Little do you know, your purpose is greater than a simple game. The task is simple: grab up to 2 Huberts (living stone figures which are also somehow a penguin species) at a time, and then throw them into a hole. Once you have collected 10 Huberts, your time will be recorded and you will be sent back to the main menu. From there you can purchase upgrades and one-time consumables to assist you in achieving a faster time. However the more you play the more you realize that your purpose here was for much more than just simple entertainment. Content included in the game: - A simple catching game where you must grab one moving Hubert at a time in each hand, using left and right click to grab them. - A credit system based on your time in each round, where you gain more money based on how fast you win. - Consumables which can be bought in the shop and used once in a round before being removed from your inventory. - Upgrades which can replace/modify your hands (don’t think too hard about it) to change the method in which you collect Huberts. - A Speedrun Timer and in-game Leaderboard. (despite how the description may sound, the game does not actually cover most of the story elements. Unless.. Maybe if you get a good enough score… maybe then something will happen? COMING SOON)
