Pokémon meets Diablo. Capture creatures by petting them and build a party of three that fights on its own. Equip them with randomised loot, feed creatures to each other at the Devouring Altar to pass on passives, and sacrifice five at the Pentagram to change a sixth into a new form.

Pet. Every. Dog.
A creature-collecting autobattler. You can capture creatures, and each one you capture becomes a unit in your party. Everything is a dog if you try hard enough.
Capture
You can capture many creatures: beasts, humans, undead, machines and one god. Walk up to a wild one and pet it to capture it. Better petting hands work on stronger creatures.
Battle
Your party is three creatures. They fight on their own. You choose the party, equip it, and decide when to use the limit break.
Devour and rebirth
At the Devouring Altar one creature eats another. It keeps its form and learns the other's passive, which can then be slotted. At the Pentagram, five creatures are sacrificed to turn a sixth into a new form. You see the result before you accept it.
Loot
Magic and rare gear with random affixes; rare items drop unidentified. Sockets, runes, gems and runewords. A grid inventory and a stash. Shiny creatures with an extra passive.
