Below the Ashes

Forty years after the sky caught fire, the ash still falls. Your group found an old mine hatch with a ladder going down. Under the ash the ground is warmer, and warm is what keeps you alive. But the deep was never empty, and something down there is climbing toward your light. Below the Ashes is a survival colony game for one to eight players. You each control a survivor directly while your crew follows your orders. Dig, build, farm and fight together, and lead your people deeper than anyone should go. Lead a crew Mark areas to dig, build or guard and your crew gets to work. They get hungry, cold and hurt, and they remember how you treat them. Dig into a living world Tunnels can cave in, water floods the low passages and air runs thin the deeper you go. Every world is generated fresh, with caverns, underground lakes, root caves and fungus zones. The dark is the enemy You only see what your lights reach. The creatures of the deep hunt by night, and the deeper you go, the more of them there are. A story told out loud A fully voiced campaign that you play together. People give you goals, and how you reach them is up to you. Big decisions are made as a group.
