■ Game Overview "Day-Night Incident" is a 2D Japanese horror adventure game set in an eerie village rumored to practice bizarre sacrificial rituals. Follow the trail of your missing senior journalist, unravel the mysteries of a village that transforms between day and night, and fight to escape with your life. ■ Prologue / Story Mai is a rookie reporter working for an occult magazine editorial department. One day, her senior, Journalist Yabe, embarked on a solo investigation to uncover the truth behind a chilling tip from an acquaintance: human sacrifice rituals being conducted in a secluded village. Shortly after, a tense phone call from a public payphone echoed through the editorial office. Yabe’s voice through the receiver was laced with sheer terror— "Something is terribly wrong with this village... It's too dangerous to stay here." That was the last anyone heard from him. Under orders from her chief editor, Mai steps into the cursed village to find the missing journalist. During her search, Mai discovers Yabe's abandoned tent and a journal left behind. Its final pages revealed a terrifying truth: "—When night falls, the entire village transforms." As the sun dips below the horizon, the tranquil silence shatters, and the villagers twist into grotesque, frenzied monstrosities.
