To reclaim her lost father's tarnished honor, she sets off on a voyage in search of the hidden treasure known as the Artemis Pearl. Characters. Luvina The daughter of the Great Pirate. After 10 years of saving money from menial jobs, she earned enough for the small sailing ship she always wanted. To restore her father's honor, she goes in search of the Artemis Pearl, a hidden treasure he once possessed. She is very guarded. Styria A captain of the chivalric order, who seek to suppress pirates. Though a noble knight, she is a realist who will do whatever it takes to achieve her goals. Monkey A primitive man from Sumwhere Island, where Luvina stops on her journey. He cannot speak human language, but can communicate through physical gestures. Has endless sexual stamina. Goinvald A loyal subordinate of Luvina's late father. The only survivor of the war of ten years earlier, he has been protecting Luvina in secret. Luvina consistently gets his name wrong, and calls him "Goinbald". Has a wife and children
