The Enemy Is the Hero.
The Time-Stealing Cat is a top-down adventure RPG where you play as a cat serving the Demon King, sabotaging the heroes on their quest.
In a typical RPG, the hero defeats the Demon King.
But in this game, you're on the Demon King's side.
You have only one mission:
Delay the heroes for as long as possible before they reach the Demon King's Castle.
The more time you buy, the stronger the Demon King becomes—and eventually, even the outcome of the final battle can change.
Throw the heroes' journey into chaos.
Collapse bridges.
Block roads.
Buy out valuable items.
The heroes automatically travel across the world.
As a cat, you can stay one step ahead, using the world itself to interfere with their progress.
Explore towns, the Great Forest, the Goddess's Pond, Dragon Valley, and the Demon King's Castle.
The world is filled with unique locations and colorful inhabitants.
As you explore, you'll discover new items and events, unlocking even more ways to sabotage the heroes.
Cat or Human?
In cat form, you're small, agile, and can slip into places others can't.
In human form, you can talk with people, shop for items, and influence events directly.
Switch between the two forms and outsmart the heroes at every turn.
The heroes are trying to save the world.
Your job is to stop them.
A journey that normally lasts only ten minutes.
