Sugar OVERDRIVE is a fast-paced melee game that takes elements from Shooters like Doom, and mixes them with the weapons and crazy combos of Character Action Games like Devil May Cry or Bayonetta.
Candy City is now the only place allowed to produce candies and sugar products, and the inhabitants of the city are slowly transforming into sugar creatures.
Something really wrong is going on here, and YOU are the only one strong enough to infiltrate the city and investigate.
...But you don't really care. All you want is to raid the city, get to the candy factory and have all the sugar for yourself. Because why bother with anything else?
- COMBO OR DIE: The only way to heal is to combo your enemies into candy. The longer the combo, the more you can heal!
- MASTER YOUR ARSENAL: From lightning hammers to scythes, there are many weapons to master and use in combos.
- BECOME A MOVEMENT PRO: From sliding, to dashing, to kick-jumping. The movement in Sugar OVERDRIVE is expressive and deep, and you will need it to survive.
- CONTROL THE FLOW OF BATTLE: Parry your enemies, throw them into deadly chocolate or explode them all with one grenade. Sugar is food to be toyed with.
- CLIMB THE LEADERBOARD: Show everyone that you are the best with the infinite arena mode, where your skills are the only thing that can stop you.
