Invasion Mode challenges you to collect upgrades and downgrades dropped by defeated enemy ships, but be careful! Picking up a downgrade can weaken your spaceship. Survival Mode lets you choose upgrades at the start, but once you're done, you can't upgrade anymore – you must fight until the end.
