Rescue Drone Simulator: Second Chance

Fire spreading faster than anyone can run. A ceiling that could come down at any second. Some places are too hot, too tight, too unstable to send a person into — so you send a drone instead. You join a newly formed crisis response unit built out of people whose careers fell apart. All of them got a second chance. The Rescue drone tracks phone signals to find the missing and drops med kits when they're needed. The Firefighting drone knocks flames down and clears a path for the crews behind you. The Police drone breaks up crowds and takes down hostiles without putting anyone in the line of fire. The Anti-Drone catches enemy machines mid-air with a net launcher. Each one flies differently, and each one has to be learned from scratch. Every mission starts in the workshop. Engines, blades, batteries, arms, cooling — each part makes a real difference to speed, thrust and flight time. You'll feel a badly built drone within the first minute: camera shake, altitude drift, power cutting out right when you need it. It starts with the elements. Fire, water, a floor that will not hold. Nobody is to blame and nothing needs explaining, you simply have to get there in time. The further you go, the more often the disaster turns out to be somebody's decision, and your unit keeps showing up where somebody would rather it did not. The crew has a story of its own. The firefighter still hasn't accepted she's never going back in. The paramedic remembers every person he didn't reach in time. The investigator doesn't trust the technology, but he trusts the work. The specialist knows she was wronged and still can't prove it.
