QuilomboZ: Palmares puts you in command of elite warriors like Zumbi and Dandara, defending the legendary "Quilombo dos Palmares" against Portuguese colonial forces. For the first time, players take on the role of the historically oppressed as the strategic protagonists of the conflict. This real-time tactics (RTT) game is inspired by the true story of Palmares, the largest community of escaped enslaved people in the Americas, combined with the tactical depth and feel of classic Commandos. Lead a group of highly skilled fighters, using stealth, terrain awareness, and coordinated abilities to outmaneuver Portuguese troops and profit-driven mercenaries. Plan and execute precise strategies across dense, historically grounded environments. You will often face larger enemy forces, requiring careful positioning, timing, and synergy between characters to succeed. At the core of the experience is the Axé system. By defeating enemies, your warriors generate spiritual energy that allows them to channel their Orishas, temporarily unlocking powerful abilities that can shift the course of battle. Each hero is tied to a unique Orisha identity, blending cultural authenticity with deep gameplay mechanics.
