Sobre Gnomes Go Boom
Stand still. Look ceramic. Go BOOM.
Gnomes Go Boom is an online party game for 2–10 players. One team are exploding garden gnomes. The other team are gardeners with water sprayers. The garden is full of 200–300 ceramic gnome statues – and a few of them are your friends.Play the Gnomes
- Freeze into a perfect statue. Stop moving and your gnome locks into the exact same pose as every ceramic statue in the garden. Same look, same shadow, same drip when sprayed. Nobody can tell you apart.
- Walking is painfully slow. To get anywhere you have to RUN – arms flailing, screaming "lolololo" for the whole garden to hear.
- Sneak, freeze, repeat. Run from cover to cover, freeze when a gardener turns around, and creep closer.
- Hold to light your fuse… and BOOM. Take out every gardener in the blast. Bonus points for multi-kills and for keeping your nerve right next to a gardener.
Play the Gardeners
- First-person paranoia. Hundreds of gnome statues. All smiling. One of them just moved. Probably.
- Backpack water sprayer. Spray a statue and it just drips. Spray a live gnome and it steams – keep hosing until it's done.
- Limited tank. Waste your water on statues and you'll be sprinting to the nearest water butt while the gnomes close in.
- Stick to the roads. Paths are statue-free safe ground… and any gnome standing on a path is obviously alive.
- Survive the timer and the garden is yours.
Every round is a new garden
- Statues are re-scattered in new random spots and facings every round – no memorising.
- The statues wear exactly the hat and coat colours the players picked, so your look is always hiding in the crowd.
- Short rounds: 20 seconds to hide, 3 minutes to hunt, then the reveal shows who was alive all along.
Modes and maps
- Classic – gnomes vs gardeners. Gnomes win if every gardener goes boom; gardeners win if anyone survives the clock.
- Infection – blown-up gardeners come back as gnomes. Last gardener standing gets the glory.
- Backyard – lawns, flower beds, a pond, a shed and a lot of suspicious ornaments.
- Garden Centre – greenhouses, shelves of gnomes for sale, plant tables and a yard full of stock.
The dressing room
