Deeper Than Gold

The crypt has no bottom – only better gold and worse company. Deeper Than Gold is an isometric action dungeon crawler for 1–4 players. Every room you clear takes you further from the exit, and every coin you pick up is only borrowed until you carry it back to the surface. Every ten rooms the crypt drops a tier: more enemies, tougher elites, richer hoards. Ascension halls and rest rooms along the way hold portals to the surface. Step through and your gold is safe – push on and you risk it. - Die down there and you lose most of the gold you carry and wake at your last checkpoint. Fall too often and your run is over. - Gold spills as coins from enemies, chests and side rooms – grab it, haul it, decide. - Levers, portcullises and hidden walls lead to side rooms worth the detour. - Warrior – the tank. Block, parry and heavy strikes; Shield Charge, Whirlwind and a War Cry that pulls enemies onto you. - Archer – charged shots and an aim mode; Multishot, Fire Arrow and Arrow Rain. - Mage – casts from bare hands; Fireball, Frost Nova and Chain Lightning. Every hero can dodge-roll, and every hero carries a belt of healing potions. - 34 relics with tags and set bonuses at three and five of a kind – every run builds differently. - Shrines of the Deep trade the gold you carry for blessings. Spend it now, or keep it for the portal? Every few rooms something is different: a goblin merchant, an imprisoned mercenary, an ambush, an altar of trials – or a chest that bites back. In the burial chambers, four tombs must be opened in the order the inscription tells you. Get it wrong and the dead rise. Get it right and a sealed gate opens – to the Crypt Guardian and its hoard. Every 20 rooms the crypt changes: Crypt, Mine, Fungus Caves, Ice Crypt and Lava Depths – each with its own rooms, light and enemy variants, from sappers in the mine to frost goblins that slow you down. At the end of each biome a boss waits: the Crypt Guardian, the Mine Overseer, the Spore Mother, the Frost Wyrmling and the Magma Brute. Three phases each, with colour-coded attacks that tell you whether to dodge, block or interrupt. Past room 100 the cycle begins again – harder. - Online co-op for 1–4 players via Steam lobbies and friend invites. - Pick up downed friends before they bleed out. Extract early and you watch the others push on – with your gold already safe. - Solo works too: the game pauses, and you get a self-revive for the worst moment. - An endless crypt assembled from hand-built rooms – a new layout every run - Extraction with real risk: bank your gold or lose it - 3 classes, 5 biomes, 5 bosses - 34 relics with synergies, shrine blessings, healing potions - Room events and tomb puzzles - Meta progression: crypt coins, a merchant with 32 pieces of gear in four rarities, starting perks and cosmetics - Daily Crypt: same seed for everyone, one ranked attempt per day, Steam leaderboard - Three difficulty levels - Full controller support, rebindable controls - Ultrawide support (21:9 and 32:9) - Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud saves - Interface in English and German
