Well, despite the developer bragging about the game’s “easy to pick up, hard to master” design, it's hard to mask the humble vibes of a solo indie production. Still, Bubbles in the Air offers something few games do: a fresh, real-time bubble-bursting experience. Floating, Colliding, Merging, Bursting As you can see—no grids, no turns, and no funding. Bubbles in the Air is a real-time bubble-popping game. The rules are simple: shoot bubbles, merge matching ones, watch them grow and burst—then deal with the new ones they spawn. A Dog’s Daydream “Why a dog and not a cat?” The dev says it's an effort to avoid starting a cat-vs-dog war. The real reason? No budget. If the game sells well, he’d gladly add an entire zoo. Dogs and game developers—both allowed to dream. Chill or Challenge—Your Choice Once again: this game is great for relaxing or strategizing. You can play by luck, merging colors and tapping away until you win. Or, you can master the mechanics, predict outcomes, and play like it’s chess with soap. Why do we keep repeating this? Because the dev wants to appeal to both casual and hardcore players. What he didn’t realize is… in this niche genre, he might be the only hardcore player so far. So Many Worlds, So Many Ways to Play Each world in Bubbles in the Air brings a fresh setting and a brand-new mechanic. Due to the main character being a dog, no matter how well you perform, the character won’t lose clothing—or suddenly transform into some kind of dog-girl. Why mention this at all? Because the developer would like to gently remind a few personal friends (you know who you are) that “Steam + Match Game = Undressing” is not a universal law. At least in this game, the dog only sheds fur.
