About Amadeus: A Riddle for Thee is a narrative game franchise heavily inspired by Umineko When They Cry thematically, and Professor Layton aesthetically. There will be 5 episodes in total. Each episode contains its own fulfilling narrative arc, but exists as part of a single overarching story that should be experienced in order. This installment, Episode 2 ~ Reharm, is currently under development. Characters A young werewolf with arms of porcelain, cursed to transform when the moon Aska rises full. Offered his memories to a Witch in exchange for a set of tomes. The first tome led him to a certain answer; today, he is very reluctant to seek the next. An expressive young Witch who tends to a magical grove with portals. Close friend to Amadeus and never seen without her trusty gardening gloves. She leads today's story, since Amadeus—in her words—"is being so difficult." A cunning magician who harnesses the magic of the lesser moon Poe. Steward of Amadeus's memories and keeper of the tomes. She is able to "call" him to her domain by implanting thoughts and urges in his mind... and such a call reveals that she now resides at Augur Pyne.
