About This Game ZombieCraft is a 2D pixel-art survival and defense game where day and night endlessly repeat as you build your base and survive increasingly powerful hordes of zombies. During the day, manage your farm, operate factories, explore the surrounding world, and gather resources. When night falls, the game changes completely. Zombies emerge from the darkness and swarm toward your base. Use the resources, facilities, equipment, and allies you prepared during the day to defend everything you have built. Survive the night, and morning will come again. But the next night will be even more dangerous. Build and grow during the day. Survive during the night. The cycle of day and night never ends, and the world becomes more dangerous with each passing day. Day — Farming, Production, and Exploration Daytime is your chance to prepare for the next night. Manage your farm to produce essential resources, then build and operate factories to manufacture additional materials and equipment. Exploring beyond your base is just as important. Venture into the surrounding world and attack trees, rocks, and ore veins to gather valuable resources and materials needed for survival. But you cannot do everything at once. Will you expand your farm? Invest in production? Explore farther into dangerous territory? Or strengthen your defenses before night arrives? Every decision you make during the day directly affects your chances of surviving the night. Night — Defend Your Base When night begins, zombies start advancing toward your base. Use the defenses, equipment, resources, and combat strength you prepared during the day to stop them. You will also fight alongside your defenses directly. Dodge enemy attacks, eliminate dangerous targets, reinforce collapsing defensive lines, and control the battlefield. Recruit mercenaries to fight beside you and combine different abilities to create your own combat strategy. If you survive the night, a new day begins. But as time passes, enemies become more numerous, more powerful, and increasingly difficult to defeat. Automatic Attacks, Direct Movement Your character automatically searches for and attacks nearby enemies and resource objects. However, you decide where to move, which enemies to engage, and where to explore. During the day, travel across the world in search of resources. At night, avoid zombie attacks and move through dangerous battlefields to support your defenses. Simply finding stronger weapons will not be enough. Positioning, movement, resource management, and base development all affect your chances of survival. Build Your Own Combat Style Grow stronger through combat and unlock new attack abilities. Choose new abilities or upgrade existing ones to create your own build. Improve stats such as attack power, attack speed, range, and projectiles to make even the same weapon develop in completely different ways. Your choices determine how your character fights, allowing each run to develop into a different combat style. Attack More Than Just Zombies Zombies are not the only things you can attack in ZombieCraft. The world is filled with resource objects such as trees, rocks, and ore veins, all of which can be destroyed using your attacks. Combat and gathering are not separate activities. Fight enemies while destroying nearby resources, gathering materials, and preparing for your next stage of growth. The farther you travel from safety, the greater the potential rewards—and the greater the danger. Fight Alongside Mercenaries You do not have to face every zombie alone. Recruit and upgrade mercenaries who will fight alongside you. Each mercenary can play a different role in battle, and their abilities can be combined with your own build to create stronger combat strategies. Build a survival system where the player, mercenaries, and defensive structures all fight together. Grow Your Base Growing your character alone will not be enough to survive. Expand your farms and production facilities, construct new buildings, and develop your entire base. Use facilities such as the Library, Blacksmith, Mercenary Guild, and Shop to unlock new paths of progression and prepare for future nights. How you spend your resources will shape the way you play. Invest in your own combat power, increase production, strengthen your mercenaries, or build a more powerful defensive line. Survival Through Preparation At the heart of ZombieCraft is the connection between two different styles of gameplay: daytime preparation and nighttime defense. During the day, farm, manufacture resources, and explore the world. At night, use everything you have prepared to defend your base. Then, when the night ends, use the results of that battle to prepare for the next day. Explore farther. Expand production. Strengthen your defenses. Or improve your personal combat abilities. Every new day brings another decision. An Endless, Escalating World There is no predetermined final night in ZombieCraft. Day and night continue indefinitely. As you grow stronger, the zombies grow stronger as well. Face larger hordes, more dangerous enemies, and increasingly brutal nights while continuing to develop your base.
