ENDLESS HALLS THAT WATCH YOUR EVERY STEP This Is Not For You is a horror graphic adventure about getting lost in a twisting maze and drawing a map to get out. After a mysterious ship crashes into an isolated lighthouse, Ulysses goes inside to investigate, only to find strange artifacts and a letter stating “this is not for you”. The lighthouse lamp is suddenly turned on and Ulysses must go back to turn it off. Yet, he finds an impossible maze full of looping hallways, keys, statues, and characters that talk in riddles. “One day, a ship arrived” Brave Ulysses must face the twist and turns of a lighthouse that's bigger on the inside than the outside. Partially inspired by Mark Z. Danielewsky's "House of Leaves", early text adventures, and gothic fiction, the game takes place in the early 20th century in a brooding labyrinth full of memories. In the blink of an eye you'll go from the soothing walls of a lighthouse bedroom, to the flooded corridors of a sailing ship, the bottom of the ocean, and a cold, empty void. Twisty little passages Try to make sense out of a dreamlike place. Going north could take you back to a room you thought was south. You might be turning in loops and take a while to figure it out. You may need to draw a map if you intend to find every item and solve the increasingly complex puzzles. You must also be careful with your steps, as each one will slowly drain your blood, until nothing remains. “By the pricking of my thumbs…” A Magician who lost his magic. A Diver who doesn’t remember his name. They'll appear from time to time, asking questions and pretending the lighthouse is not trying to eat them alive. Aura's letters may offer answers, if you don’t decide to burn them. If you're patient enough, the truth will find its way into your eyes.
