Control gravity, movement speed, armor strength, projectile sizes... and just about everything else you can think of, for real! The Joust will eventually ship lucrative modding tooling for generating ingame weapons, stages, and additional modded content. In fact... nearly everything can be modded! Made for community: From day one, The Joust has been driven by community feedback. For a while, this community meant a few people that listened to a pipedream idea of a game where cartoony simple geometry characters fight one another with swords... but it has grown into a wonderful array of hundreds of playtesters and a whole production team. Aside from our handmade logos, The Joust does not ship traditional graphical assets and relies on mathematical generation of simple geometry to achieve its graphics. The Joust is committed to NOT using any sort of AI-powered tools in our generation of marketing material. All music for The Joust is composed, arranged, and performed by humans. The Joust does NOT currently ship with localization features, but pledges to source its localization from real humans to the greatest extent practically verifiable by our team.
