Every event is an opportunity to meet or reencounter another influential person in society and either raise or lose favor with them and or enter into a romantic entanglement. Every interaction also opens the opportunity to receive gifts or negotiate trade deals that result in items you can use to take to the modiste to craft new outfits, the carpenter to create new furnishings for your manor, or expand your manor to unlock gardens, kitchens and stables for expansive gameplay experiences.
