A secret group of oligarchs calling themselves “The Ones” have created Gaia, a quantum supercomputer designed to control humanity. The majority, “the 99%”, are now sleeping in Gaia's simulation without knowing it. The resistance group RISE99 seeks mindhackers to breach the digital mind of Gaia. Your goal: destroy Gaia’s security systems and free humanity from the simulation. RISE99 is more than a VR game. It is a training programme for mindhackers, designed to elevate your mind-body connection, focus and coordination. Despite the sensation of surfing at speed, the movement feels comfortable in VR and is well tolerated by the playtesters. You can play seated or standing.
