Respect The Horde

YOU'RE OUTNUMBERED. OUTSMART THEM. Fighting hundreds of zombies head-on is a good way to run out of bullets. In Respect the Horde, survival is about using the horde's predictable behavior against it. Build barriers to redirect its path, lure zombies where you want them, and funnel entire crowds into barbed wire, fire and deadly traps. The bigger the horde, the more important your plan becomes. EXPLORE. LOOT. PREPARE. Explore abandoned locations for weapons, equipment and resources. Decide where to make your stand, then turn the environment into a defensive setup built to handle hundreds of infected at once. Place obstacles to shape their path. Combine traps. Create bottlenecks. Keep an escape route open. Because once the horde starts moving, changing the plan becomes a lot harder. ONE MORE WAVE? The more zombies you kill, the greater the rewards, but the further you push, the more dangerous the horde becomes. You can extract when the objective is complete and bring your rewards home. Or you can stay. One more wave. One more danger level. One more chance to come back stronger. The longer you push your luck, the more there is to gain, and the more spectacularly your carefully prepared strategy can fall apart. The real challenge isn't surviving. It's knowing when to leave. EVERY RUN MATTERS Survivors who make it home gain experience and learn new skills. Recover new weapons and equipment, improve your base, and prepare your group for increasingly dangerous missions. But death matters too. Lose a survivor in the field and they'll join the horde until you put an end to their misery. Every extraction makes the group stronger. Every mistake can make the next mission harder. RECLAIM THE ISLAND Choose where to deploy from the island map, with each location offering different opportunities, advantages and dangers. Push deeper into infected territory, reclaim regions one mission at a time, and build a path toward taking the island back from the dead. You don't need enough bullets to kill every zombie. You just need a better plan.
